DiStruc project title: Dynamical study and rod self-diffusion close to liquid crystalline transitions

Supervisors: Eric Grelet, Jan Dhont, Erik Westerhof

I am interested in statistical and soft matter physics, especially colloids. I have obtained my bachelor degree from the Physics Department (specialization Molecular physics) of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine. Phase transitions in liquids were my major direction of the study in Ukraine. My master degree was obtained at the University of Strasbourg (specialization Condensed Matter and Nanophysics), France. I have made internship project at Institute of Charles Sadron (Strasbourg). I studied self-assembling lipid membranes under local electrical field. Currently, I am doing my PhD thesis under the supervision of Eric Grelet at the Paul Pascal Research Centre, Bordeaux. We study the phase behavior of filamentous bacteriophages.
