DiStruc project title: Multiple Particle Collision Dynamics simulations on the complex flow non-ideal rod-like particles

I received my Master’s degree from the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IPE, CAS), majored in chemical engineering. During my master thesis, I dealt with numeirical simulation of the flow and interphase mass/heat transfer from a viscous drop immersed in shear flow.
Now, my focus would turn into micro- and meso-scale characteristics of soft matter. In DiStruc, I will investigate the effect of non-ideal aspects of rods (poly-dispersity, flexibility, and frozen in kinks) on the detailed particle behaviour in bulk flow and in complex flows, by means of analytical theories and computer simulation.
