For this ambitious, exciting, high level, inter- and multidisciplinary project we are seeking excellent and committed Early Stage Researchers. In addition to their individual scientific projects, the successful candidates will benefit from further continuing education, which includes secondments in academia and/or industry, a variety of training sessions as well as active participation in workshops and conferences. Applicants should be in possession of, or expect to attain, an MS in a relevant discipline (Chemistry, Physics, Materials science, Chemical engineering and other related disciplines).
Early-stage researchers (ESRs) shall, at the time of recruitment by the host organisation, be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers and not yet have been awarded a doctorate degree. Full-time equivalent research experience is measured from the date when the researcher obtained the degree which would formally entitle him/her to embark on a doctorate.
Note that mobility is a key aspect of this European Training Network and candidates should check their eligibility; At the time of recruitment by the host beneficiary, researchers must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of their host beneficiary for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the reference date. Short stays such as holidays and/or compulsory national service are not taken into account.

Each ESR will be hired for a period of 36 months and will be enrolled in a PhD program. T
he non-academic organisations will have an equal role to universities in respect of the researcher's time and supervision, and in collaboration with the participating universities will deliver joint doctoral degrees.
